Romeo At lands key PA Derby Trial

Wathnan Racing’s rising star Romeo At continued his fine progression towards classic success with a determined win in the G3 Prix Damas, a Derby trial for Purebred Arabians at Bordeaux Le Bouscat on Tuesday.
With two wins from his four starts, plus two runner-up finishes in Group 1 PA contests at Deauville and Saint-Cloud last year, the four-year-old looks set to be a leading contender for trainer Xavier Thomas-Demeaulte in the major contests throughout the season.
Bred by Abdulla Mohammed Bin Touq Almarri, Romeo At is a son of Af Al Buraq and is likely to be seen next in the G1 Qatar Derby for four-year-olds at Chantilly on 14 June.
